What is NDIS?

NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme.

The NDIS is Australia’s first national scheme made for people with disability, providing funds to individuals for services and supports.

If you are aged between 7 & 65, live in Australia & have Australian residency, need support from a person because of disability and need support to reduce your future needs, then you may be eligible.

Incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine of faeces that is a social or hygienic problem.

At Continence Regional Vic we believe that all people living with urinary or faecal incontinence or dysfunction have the right to a full assessment of their continence issues and to be provided with strategies and options to manage, reduce or alleviate any distress or discomfort associated with the incontinence.

The service believes that incontinence problems can be, improved or effectively managed to reduce the negative outcomes of distress, disease or placement in hostel or permanent care.
